Silly Smart Games

Silly Smart Games is a small, independent studio making free browser games you can start in one click — no signup, no installs, no paywalls. The name is the whole philosophy: games that are silly (playful, instantly fun, easy to pick up) but smart underneath (real strategy, honest systems, a bit of craft in how they're built).

What you'll find here

Two broad kinds of game live on this site:

One-thumb arcade toys — quick, reflex-driven games like Spiral Dive, Planet Drop, Drift Loop and Bladeline, built to be picked up in seconds and played in short bursts.
Deep strategy simulations — games with real decisions and legible systems, like Statecraft (govern a republic), Sporting Director (run a football club), Sweet Spot (run a company), and Wonderkid (be a football agent developing young talent).

Every game runs entirely in your browser and works on phones and desktops alike.

Who makes them

Silly Smart Games is made by Madhav Sethi, an independent developer. Each game is hand-built as a single, self-contained web app — the "serious tech" behind the playful surface. You can find more of the work at madhavsethi.com.

Free to play

Everything here is free. The site is supported by unobtrusive advertising and, over time, by players who enjoy the games and share them. There are no accounts to create and no personal information required to play — your game progress is saved locally in your own browser.
